Dried hard on scalp. No positive benefits.

I have had problems with my scalp since moving from the West Coast, with its moisture-laden ocean air, to the dried out flatness of the Midwest. My scalp is constantly dry, and I have experienced hair loss which fortunately seems to have tapered off. But my scalp needs help. I have seen multiple doctors and tried dozens of medicated shampoos and treatments, but nothing has helped. I keep hoping the next product that promises to nourish and care for a problematic scalp will bring some true relief. On the packaging for the Reincarnation Scalp Treatment, Bleach London claims this product will "promote a balanced scalp microbiome and stimulate hair growth at the root, giving you denser, longer hair." When I ordered it, I was really looking forward to hopefully seeing improvement with my scalp issues. When I applied the product as directed, I found it to be very strange, as where it was applied, it dried hard on my scalp. I figured that, even though I had followed the directions, I was using too much of the product. But even when applied in very small amounts, the product again dried into a hard little clumps that were very uncomfortable. The product by drying hard was acting more like a hair gel or something- the opposite of an "ultra-lightweight serum" as described. I used the product as long as I could to give it a chance, but ultimately I couldn't stand the way it felt on my scalp. My scalp did not feel moisturized- in fact, it had become more dry. It was not benefitting from any "deep relief" from the product’s “highly moisturizing complex." This product would make sense if it were a treatment that was meant to be rinsed off of the scalp. I found the layer of crunchiness this product dried into to be intolerable. This, coupled with no improvement in my scalp’s condition, made the Reincarnation Scalp Treatment the worst of all of the Bleach London products I had tried. It was the one Bleach London product I was really hoping was going to work, to help with my scalp condition. The search continues.

Good to have on-hand

I got a bit of sunburn and thankfully had this on hand! The formula is nice and cooling. I put it on a few nights a week before bed. It dries down and doesn’t leave any residue, really. It’s not an immediate fix-all, but I’m encouraged enough to keep using it!

My scalp feels so soft and looks shinier than ever!

I am so pleased with the outcome of using this scalp treatment and even after one use my hair feels great! The scent isn’t overwhelming and it applied to my hair flawlessly. This scalp treatment is now a staple in my weekly hair care regime!

Overall not bad

This serum is truly lightweight not greasy — which is a huge plus. Doesn’t smell at all package is very convenient. You really need a tiny pea amount every time so it will last you. I use it for a little over a month and yet cannot see big differences in hair growth but I have way less fallout out hair now.

This Product Has Some Pros & Some Cons

First off I would like to thank Bleach London for sending me this product to try and review!So to begin this product is marketed as a scalp treatment to improve hair growth and promote longer denser hair. It claims to hydrate dry hair of any color bleached or not. The directions say to apply directly to the scalp in sections and massage for 5 minutes. Next it says to use twice daily for three months for optimal results.I used the product and had a few issues. The consistency is extremely runny and if you are not expecting it when you take the cap off it will spill! Be careful. I think a different container for it would help improve this problem. Maybe like a bottle with a dropper applicator. In addition there was no scent. Some people may enjoy that feature but personally I enjoy having my hair products scented. My last complaint is that the product directions say to use twice a day for three months. Personally I think using a product two times a day for three months is a large amount of time to see effects. Especially because the product is a leave in product so you cannot have your hair down while using unless you like the wet hair look and are able to style it without looking funny. Again that is not something for me.On the positive side I do like the pointy tip that makes it easy to apply straight to the scalp and section the hair. The product comes out fast like that so once you get the hang of it it works. Next the packaging is very sleek and I like the silver. In addition this product is great for slick backs.Overall I do not think I would recommend this product to anyone just due to the messiness of it. Plus I do not love the amount of time needed to use this product to see results. I think it is too long personally.
