Do I need to bleach my hair to go pearl blonde?

Yes! To get pearly blonde hair, you’ll need a pale yellow bleach blonde base. We recommend doing a strand test before bleaching your hair at home. This will give the best indication of how your hair will react to the bleaching process and the end result. 

Why do I need to tone my hair after bleaching?

If you want to go pearly blonde, it’s important to use a toner that neutralises brassy yellows from your freshly bleached hair, which can impact how your colour shows up. Toner helps to even your bleach out and creates a clean finish or base for applying dye.

What can I do to keep my pearly blonde looking fresh?

Use Pearlescent Toner as a base layer before applying Pearlescent Super Cool Colour to help strengthen your colour and make it last longer. Can I use this on my naturally blonde or grey hair?

Probably not! Your hair needs to be a very pale yellow for any products in the Pearlescent range to show up. We recommend a strand test to check how it'll look on your hair. Naturally blonde or grey hair can be resistant to semi-permanent colour so may need to be bleached beforehand.
