What you’ll need:
Bleach London Eco-conut Bowl and tint brush for mixing your products
Bleach London Crocodile Clips for clipping up your hair sections
An old t-shirt or Bleach London Bleach Proof Towel to protect your clothes
How to prepare:
Read the instructions provided with all products.
Always do a Strand Test for our bleach kits and a Strand & Sensitivity Test for toner kits and Super Cool Colours.
Step 1: SECTION & BLEACH
First, lighten your hair using our Total Bleach Kit. Start with the mid-lengths and ends – heat from your scalp makes the first 2 cm or ¾ of an inch of hair develop more quickly, so you need to give the rest a head start.
Section from behind one ear to the other over the top of your head.
Starting 2 cm away from the root on the front section of hair, paint the bleach onto thin slices of hair.
On the back section of hair where you’ll only have pink dip-dye, bleach the bottom half of your hair.
Leave for 20-40 minutes, checking the hair condition every 10 min by doing a scrape test.
Apply the bleach to the roots of the front section and let it develop for another 30-45 minutes according to the instructions on your bleach kit.
Rinse, shampoo and towel dry.
STEP 2: TONE
Use our Champagne Super Toner Kit to neutralise brassy bleach yellows and balances out your blonde for a champagne blonde base.
Centre-part your towel-dried hair and apply the toner mixture to the warmest/yellowest bits of your bleached hair first, then do the rest.
Remember to saturate and smoosh!
Don’t worry about getting the toner on the unbleached hair as it won’t change the color.
Let your hair develop for 10-20 minutes, then rinse with cool water and condition with Reincarnation Mask for added nourishment.
STEP 3: BLONDE COLOR
For more golden tones, use Just Like Honey Super Cool Colour.
Over towel-dried hair, smoosh Just Like Honey all over.
Leave out the sections of hair in your fringe where you want to add the yellow and blue dyes in the next step.
STEP 4: COLOURED FLECKS IN FRINGE
Twisted Lemon and Blue Weekend are two fun, vivid colors to mix in streaks through your fringe, but choose whichever two colors are calling to you to personalise this look!
For the colorful ends, section the front of the hair into 5 sections.
Paint the tips of each alternating section with Twisted Lemon and Blue Weekend. Use two tint brushes or clean your brush when you change colours.
Leave these three colors to develop for 30 minutes and then rinse.
STEP 5: PINK DIP-DYE
The Big Pink turns bleached and toned hair a bright, hot pink.
Section away the blonde half of your hair (unless you want dip-dye on this as well!) and split the back section of your hair into two parts.
Paint on The Big Pink to the bleached hair in each section, saturating the hair with product.
Leave to develop for 30 min.
Rinse with cool water.
