A leopard doesn't change its spots but you can. Leopard print hair has untamed the manes of everyone from Nicki Minaj to Tyler, the Creator and now it's your turn. It might look complicated but this is one masterpiece you don't need an art GCSE for, just a few bottles of Super Cool Colour and a DIY dream. The shorter the hair the better though, so this is purrfect for a freshly buzzed blank canvas. Paw out your dyes and let's get painting.
Our stylists have made some amazing creations over the years. Go check out our Instagram to see more hair art inspo.
Our stylists like to go for a small paint brush for precise painting
When ready, rinse with cool water to make sure the colours don’t run into one another
You must perform a strand and skin sensitivity test before colouring. A strand test checks the condition of your hair and how it will look and feel after colouring. Click here for our strand and skin sensitivity test guide.

Set aside 30 mins - 1 hour for the process.
Start with a clean base. Prep your hair by bleaching and toning to a very light, clean and even blonde base.
Choose your first colour - this will be the inside of the leopard spots. Use the paintbrush to paint the spots on so they are evenly spaced and not too close together. Some can be slightly bigger and some smaller for variation.
Choose your second colour - this will create the dark border around the leopard spots. Paint random edges around each dot but don't join the edges up.
Leave the SCC to soak into your hair for 20-30 minutes.
Being very careful not to rub the colour in or disturb it, use a shower head to direct very cold water onto the hair to rinse out. Blot dry with a towel – do not rub!
