What you’ll need:
Bleach London Eco-conut Bowl and tint brush for mixing your products
Several more non-metallic bowls and some paint brushes for your hair art
Bleach London Crocodile Clips for clipping up your hair sections
An old t-shirt or Bleach London Bleach Proof Towel to protect your clothes
How to prepare:
Read the instructions provided with all products.
Always do a Strand Test for our bleach kits and a Strand & Sensitivity Test for toner kits and Super Cool Colours.
STEP 1: BLEACH
First, lighten your hair using our Total Bleach Kit.
Start at the front of your hair and liberally paint the bleach on from temple to temple using your tint brush.
Using the brush, paint the hair in different directions so you make sure every hair is coated in bleach.
Work through your whole head.
Let the bleach develop for 20-40 minutes according to the instructions for your hair type.
Check the hair every 10 minutes by gently scraping the bleach away from your roots with the edge of your tint brush to check the colour and condition of your hair.
Once you’re done, rinse until the water runs clear then shampoo twice and gently towel dry. Now it’s time to tone!
STEP 2: TONER
Our Bleach London White Toner Kit neutralises brassy bleach yellows and balances out your blonde to create a clean blank canvas for adding toner and colour.
Apply the toner mixture to your hair. Remember to saturate and smoosh!
Let your hair develop for 10-20 minutes, then rinse with cool water and condition with Reincarnation Mask for added nourishment.
STEP 3: COLOUR
Get artsy with Bleach London Super Cool Colours! This look features The Big Pink, Slime Light and Blue Weekend. The consistency of our nice, thick semi-permanent colour creams are perfect for hair art.
Paint your pattern straight on to the head, making sure to use a different brush for each colour.
Leave to develop for 30 minutes.
Rinse carefully with cool water (no rubbing!) to prevent the dyes from bleeding
