What you’ll need: 

• Bleach London Total Bleach

• Bleach London Champagne Super Toner

• Bleach London Eco-conut Bowl and tint brush for mixing your products

• Bleach London Crocodile Clips for clipping up your hair sections if your hair is long enough 

• An old t-shirt or Bleach London Bleach Proof Towel to protect your clothes

How to prepare: 

• Read the instructions provided with all products. 

• Always do a Strand Test for our bleach kits and a Strand & Sensitivity Test for toner kits and Super Cool Colours.

STEP 1: BLEACH

First, lighten your hair using our Total Bleach Kit. Start with the mid-lengths and ends unless your hair is shorter than 2 cm – heat from your scalp makes the first 2 cm or ¾ of an inch of hair develop more quickly, so you need to give the rest a head start.

1. Divide your hair into four sections if long enough and secure. If your hair is too short to section, start bleaching from the crown of your head and work your way around, bleaching your baby hairs last as these are the most fragile.  

2. Use the tip of your tint brush or sectioning comb to section out thin slices of hair and apply your bleach mixture liberally. 

3. Gently massage it in as you go to make sure every hair is coated in bleach. This is essential for the maximum, most even lift!

4. Work through your whole head. Slice. Bleach. Massage. Repeat! 

5. Let the bleach develop for 20-40 minutes.

6. Then do your roots with the same slicing technique. Set a timer for 30-45 minutes. 

7. Check the hair every 5 minutes by gently scraping the bleach away from your roots with the edge of your tint brush to check the colour and condition of your hair.

8. Once you’re done, rinse until the water runs clear, then shampoo twice.

9. Gently towel dry, then it’s time to tone!  

Step 2: TONER

Our Champagne Super Toner neutralises brassy yellows for a balanced, creamy blonde with a warm undertone.

1. Centre-part your towel-dried hair and apply the toner mixture to the warmest/yellowest bits of your bleached hair first, then do the rest. 

2. Remember to saturate and smoosh! 

3. Let your hair develop for 10-20 minutes, then rinse with cool water and condition with Reincarnation Mask for added nourishment.
